DaneTrades Cloud

Pause, Safe Mode and Delete Behaviour

This guide is for DaneTrades Cloud Copier. It does not cover Local Copier install, EA, or device-slot workflows.

DaneTrades Cloud — web-managed copying for supported trading platforms. Telegram is a signal source only.

These controls affect future copier actions. They do not automatically clean up live broker positions.

Pause copying

Pausing a copier stops new copy actions from flowing through that link until it is resumed.

Use pause when you want the copier relationship to remain configured but inactive.

Resume copying

Resuming allows new eligible actions to flow again.

Before resuming, check:

  • source and receiver account status;
  • symbol mapping;
  • sizing and filters;
  • any receiver positions that changed while the copier was paused.

Do not assume the receiver automatically catches up with every event that happened during a pause.

Safe mode

Safe mode is intended to:

  • block new opens;
  • keep close management available.

Use it when you want to prevent new exposure while still allowing supported close actions through the copier.

Safe mode is not the same as pausing the copier.

Delete a copier

Deleting removes the copier relationship and stops new actions from being copied by it.

Deleting a copier does not:

  • close source positions;
  • close receiver positions;
  • reverse existing trades;
  • remove a broker account;
  • guarantee that manually managed positions remain matched.

The confirmation shown by the current Cloud app should be treated as the source of truth.

Manage live risk directly

If a receiver position must be closed or protected immediately, manage it on the broker platform. Do not rely on deleting or pausing configuration as a substitute for managing a live position.

Billing controls locked

When billing access locks copier controls, the app may prevent configuration changes. Follow the Billing page and current account-licence guidance rather than repeatedly recreating the copier.

Verify the chosen control

After changing a control:

  1. refresh the copier status;
  2. use a tiny test only when safe;
  3. check the new event in Trade activity;
  4. confirm the displayed behaviour matches the intended control.
