Provider formats and symbol aliases

Telegram providers do not publish signals in one universal format. The current configuration flow lets you adapt provider wording through keywords, clean-text rules, and optional symbol aliases when provider naming still differs from what your broker path expects.

Common provider patterns

  • Simple action plus one TP.
  • Multi-TP formatting such as TP1, TP2, and TP3.
  • Entry ranges instead of one exact entry price.
  • Emoji-heavy or commentary-heavy formats that need cleaning before parsing.

How to adapt safely

  1. Capture 2 to 3 real example messages from the provider.
  2. Test them in the Test Signal tab.
  3. Adjust keywords and clean-text rules before reaching for more advanced changes.
  4. Use symbol aliases only when Symbol Mapping alone does not solve the naming problem.

When symbol aliases help

The current Telegram signal modal notes that symbols are primarily detected from the copy link's Symbol Mapping. Aliases are the extra layer for cases like GOLD to XAUUSD or BTC to BTCUSD when provider wording needs explicit normalization first.
