Market closed
- Check the day and time first. Forex weekends and symbol-specific sessions are common causes.
- Indices, CFDs, and some crypto products can have different trading windows depending on the broker.
- Test with a commonly open symbol during normal hours before assuming a copier issue.
No prices or no ticks
- If the receiver is not receiving live prices, it cannot execute or manage trades properly.
- For MT4 or MT5, confirm the terminal is logged in, connected, and the chart is actually updating.
- If the feed looks frozen, restart the terminal and retest during active market hours.
Trade context busy on MT4 or MT5
- This usually means MetaTrader is already busy processing another action.
- Multiple EAs or scripts trying to trade the same account can trigger it.
- Very aggressive modify behavior can also flood the terminal.
Best current fix path
- Make sure the market is actually open for that symbol.
- Confirm the receiver terminal is live and receiving prices.
- Reduce platform load. Close other EAs or tools that trade the same account if you are on MetaTrader.
- Retest with one tiny trade during active hours.
