Step A: Is the connection enabled?
- Open Copiers and make sure the affected connection is enabled.
- If no connections are enabled at all, enable one or create one before testing again.
- Retest with one small example trade, not a full live session.
Step B: Are both sides connected?
Open Trading Accounts and check the source and receiver status.
- If either side is disconnected, reconnect it and retest.
- For MT4 or MT5, confirm the terminal is connected and the local runtime is healthy.
- If you use a local PC or Windows VPS, make sure the runtime is actually online for that workspace.
Step C: What do Logs say?
Open Logs for the time window of your test trade.
- If you see Symbol not found, go to the symbol guide.
- If you see Invalid volume or Invalid lot size, go to the sizing guide.
- If you see Insufficient margin, go to the sizing and margin guide.
- If you see no receiver attempt at all, go back to connection state and account status, then use in-app diagnostics.
Step D: Check symbol mapping
Different brokers and platforms often use different symbol names.
- `GOLD` may need `XAUUSD`
- `US30` may need `DJ30`
- `EURUSD` may need a suffixed version like `EURUSDm`
Open the connection in Copiers, review Symbol Mapping, save changes, and retest on one symbol at a time.
Step E: Check sizing and margin
- Reduce sizing temporarily and test with a tiny fixed lot.
- Make sure the receiver has enough free margin.
- Assume the receiver can have different margin and lot-step rules than the master.
If it still does not copy
Best next move: run the in-app quick scan from Get Help, then open a support ticket with the symbol, expected outcome, actual outcome, and the time window of the test.
