Manage subscription and billing from the current app flow

DaneTrades billing is managed from the Billing page in the web app. From there, you can start a plan, open Stripe Billing, update payment details, review invoices, or reactivate a workspace after cancellation or payment failure.

What the Billing page can show

The current Billing page can show states such as:

  • No subscription: no active paid plan is linked yet.
  • Trialing: the workspace is in an active trial period.
  • Active: billing is active and the subscription is running normally.
  • Past due: the latest payment needs attention.
  • Canceling: the subscription stays active until the current period ends.
  • Canceled, unpaid, or incomplete: the workspace may need a new checkout or payment fix.

How to start, change, or recover billing

  1. Open Billing in the app. Use Billing to see the current workspace billing state.
  2. Choose a monthly or yearly plan. If there is no subscription yet, use the available plan actions to start Stripe Checkout.
  3. Use Stripe Billing for updates. When a customer record already exists, the app sends you to the Stripe Billing portal to update payment details, review invoices, or change plan actions.
  4. Return to Billing after checkout. After Stripe confirms the change, reopen Billing and review the updated status.

If payment or renewal needs attention

When Billing shows Past due, Unpaid, or a canceled or incomplete state, start with the Stripe portal and then recheck the workspace.

  • Update the payment method if the latest payment failed.
  • Review scheduled cancellation if you want the workspace to keep renewing.
  • Start a new checkout if a previous subscription ended or checkout expired.
  • Give Stripe and the app a short moment to reflect the latest state after checkout.

How this replaces the older Freshdesk billing docs

Older billing docs treated renewal and license activation as separate manual steps. The current product is more direct. Billing actions happen in Stripe and the web app, while the License page reflects the resulting access state for the workspace.
