Trade Copier Settings

How to create a connection

In the current app, a connection is the master-to-receiver link that controls how trades are copied. The safest way to build one is to keep the first version simple, then confirm it works before adding advanced filters or risk rules.

Quick answer

  1. Open Copiers.
  2. Click Create Connection.
  3. Choose the correct Master Account.
  4. Choose one or more Receiver Accounts.
  5. Pick a conservative sizing mode for the first test.
  6. Save the connection and confirm it is enabled.
  7. Verify the result in Logs.

Choose the direction carefully

The most common setup mistake is getting the direction wrong. The master is the account that generates the trade. The receiver is the account that should follow it.

If you are unsure, create one link only, test it, and confirm the exact path before adding more receivers.

Best first sizing choice

Start with either a simple Lot Multiplier or a conservative Balance Multiplier. That gives you a predictable first test before you move to more advanced risk-based sizing.

How to verify it worked

  1. Place one tiny test trade on the master.
  2. Open Logs.
  3. Confirm you see the receiver attempt and the copied result.

Common mistakes

  • Leaving the new connection disabled.
  • Choosing the wrong master or receiver path.
  • Adding too many filters before the first test.
  • Skipping Logs and assuming the result from memory.
